Internship Reflection

For the past 3 months I was working as a trainee at Hilton Kuala Lumpur, they allowed us to gain more experiences in 2 different department. For me, I was involved in F&B Department and Housekeeping Department. For the first 2 months I was in the Chynna Restaurant which is one of the F&B outlet in Hilton. During the Chinese New Year period, our restaurant not only full occupancy we even take over the Graze Restaurant (Italian Restaurant) to fit in the reservation guest. Hence, can tell how busy it is during that period, but for us we learn a lot during that time as well. We learned how to communicate with the guest and also the colleagues. And the most important thing that we have learned is team work ! Especially with all of my friends.  The second department that I involved in is Housekeeping Department. For me, I would like to say that this internship has help me a lot in terms of understanding how hotel works in real life and apply what I have learnt in university to industry.
